Privacy Policy

1 · What we collect

Request data. When your browser loads a page or file from this site, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data and we keep a log of it: your IP address, the approximate location and network derived from that address (country, city, internet provider), your browser’s user agent and language headers, the page requested, the referring page, and connection details such as the HTTP and TLS version.

Page measurements. A small first-party script on each page reports basic measurements back to this site: window and screen size, pixel density, time zone, browser language, how far you scroll, how long the page stays open, the number of clicks, the number of processor cores and touch points your device reports, and whether the browser reports that it is under automated control. It does not record what you type, where you move the pointer, or what is on your screen.

Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and use it to reply.

2 · What we don’t do

3 · Third-party media

Some images and video on the home page load directly from Pexels (pexels.com) and Mixkit (mixkit.co). When they load, those services receive your IP address and browser details and handle them under their own privacy policies.

4 · Why we use it

To run and secure the website, to understand how it is used and where traffic comes from (for example, which networks and regions visit and which sections get read), to tell people apart from automated traffic, and to answer your messages.

5 · Where it is stored and for how long

Request logs and page measurements are stored with Cloudflare, which may process data outside Australia. They are kept there for up to three months and then deleted. We may keep extracts for longer where they are needed for security or record-keeping. Email is hosted by Google Workspace and kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

6 · Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run this site and our email (Cloudflare and Google), or where we are required to by law.

7 · Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@zhenlab.ai. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

8 · Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
